What does that mean?
Many people believe that this means that as christians we must support the government of the country of Israel.
- Who is this modern day country?
- When was it created? W
- Who is their king?
- Are they the chosen people?
When we examine the nation from Moses to David we see that there was an earthly leadership to it, they heard from the Father and He was their one true king. When they did what He said they prospered, when they did what they wanted to do, bad things happened. The capitol was Jerusalem, they keep the Torah and it’s Feast, keep the Sabbath, ate biblically clean…
Today we can make strong arguments that modern day Israel is lacking many key components.
- It’s people aren’t living by Torah.
- The capitol is not Jerusalem.
- It’s boundaries are wrong.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
The land is going to vomit out those that do not live by the code of the Torah.
What happens to the land when the people don’t follow Torah?
Leviticus 18:24-30 Names of God Bible (NOG)
24 “Do not become unclean in any of these ways. By these practices all the nations which I am forcing out of your way have become unclean. 25 The land has become unclean. I will punish it for its sins. The land will vomit out those who live in it. 26 Live by my standards, and obey my rules. Neither you nor any foreigner should ever do any of these disgusting things. 27 The people of the land who were there before you did all these disgusting things. As a result, the land has become unclean. 28 If you make the land unclean, it will vomit you out as it has vomited out the people who were there before you. 29 Whoever does any of these disgusting things must be excluded from the people. 30 So you must follow my instructions. Don’t live by the standards of the people who lived there before you. What they do is disgusting.Never become unclean that way. I am Yahweh your Elohim.”
Boundaries
There is much debate here, but we all agree the current status of it is far too small.

Then what should it be?
It will have one King, His name is Yahuah. He is The King currently sitting on a throne and a Temple not made with human hands and He is coming back to reclaim His Territory and His people. It will be very obvious that is He is the one who is doing it all.

17 “Never hate another Israelite. Be sure to correct your neighbor so that you will not be guilty of sinning along with him.
Abraham was promised that he would have so many descendants that you can’t even count them. That seems like a lot more people than the ones that currently call themselves “jews” with only come from one tribe. Yet most people believe the lie that this is the “chosen” people. The bloodlines of Abraham during the Dispersion of the northern kingdom, his blood lines get spread throughout the entire world. I would argue that every human alive today has a linage that directly goes back to Abraham. I don’t believe this blood line is what makes a person part of Israel.
What makes someone part of Israel?
The Church is not Israel, Israel is not really Israel. So who is Israel?
Back in this day a foreigner is someone who comes in and does what you do, takes on your ways and customs. If he doesn’t he was welcome to go on to some where else. Joshua says “for me and my house we will serve Yahuah!” If you stated in the house of Israel this meant you were doing what they did. This is what makes us part of Israel.
A great example of this mindset is found in the commands about Passover.
Exodus 12:43-49 English Standard Version (ESV)
43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “This is the statute of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat of it, 44 but every slave[a] that is bought for money may eat of it after you have circumcised him. 45 No foreigner or hired worker may eat of it. 46 It shall be eaten in one house; you shall not take any of the flesh outside the house, and you shall not break any of its bones. 47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it. 48 If a stranger shall sojourn with you and would keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised. Then he may come near and keep it; he shall be as a native of the land. But no uncircumcised person shall eat of it. 49 There shall be one law for the native and for the stranger who sojourns among you.”
It says basically if you are going to live here and live among us you are going to do what we do. If you do what we do you are family, you are part of us, part of the congregation.
Conclusion
Israel is not a worldly government made up by men. It’s a Spiritual Kingdom that is going to be manifested into a physical kingdom. Israel is about following what He said to do.
We are called His people, His Israel when we do what He wants us to do. He never says I want you to make some serious changes to that old stuff we used to do. We need to “jazz” it up for a modern generation. He NEVER says that. Never did He say, “forget that old Sabbath and the Feast stuff and replace it with something you adapt from the pagans that is more fun. This sounds a lot like the Father. If you think this you DON’T even know the Father.
He also never said, “why don’t you replace the old priest thing to a new set up thing and replace the priest with a Pastor. They will now meet on Sunday and sing a few songs, say a few prayers, and sit still and listen to a good sermon about how you should have you best life now and be happy and give a little money, and be on your way. Seems like we just put some lipstick on the Ole Baal god and called it good.
Hum, I think we have all been tricked here.
