| Revelation 14:1 I looked, and the lamb was standing on Mount Zion. There were 144,000 people with him who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads. | Exodus 29:9 9 and put turbans on them. Tie belts around the waists of Aaron and his sons. They alone are to be priests; this is a permanent law. In this way you will ordain Aaron and his sons. Psalm 2:6 6 “I have installed my own king on Zion, my holy mountain.” Isaiah 59:20 20 “Then a Go’el will come to Zion, to those in Jacob who turn from rebellion,” declares Yahweh. Ezekiel 9:4 4 Yahweh said to that person, “Go throughout the city of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of those who sigh and groan about all the disgusting things that are being done in the city.” Zechariah 14:4 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, just east of Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives will be split in two, forming a very large valley from east to west. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and the other half will move toward the south. Matthew 24:31 31 He will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and from every direction under the sky, they will gather those whom God has chosen. Ephesians 4:30 30 Don’t give God’s Holy Spirit any reason to be upset with you. He has put his seal on you for the day you will be set free from the world of sin. 2 Timothy 2:19 19 In spite of all that, God’s people have a solid foundation. These words are engraved on it: “The Lord knows those who belong to him,” and “Whoever worships the Lord must give up doing wrong.” Hebrews 12:22 22 Instead, you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, to the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to tens of thousands of angels joyfully gathered together Revelation 7:1-4 7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth. They were holding back the four winds of the earth to keep them from blowing on the land, the sea, or any tree. 2 I saw another angel coming from the east with the seal of the living God. He cried out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been allowed to harm the land and sea, 3 “Don’t harm the land, the sea, or the trees until we have put the seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 I heard how many were sealed: 144,000. Those who were sealed were from every tribe of the people of Israel: Revelation 7:17 17 The lamb in the center near the throne will be their shepherd. He will lead them to springs filled with the water of life, and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Revelation 22:4 4 and see his face. His name will be on their foreheads. |
| Revelation 14:2 2 Then I heard a sound from heaven like the noise of raging water and the noise of loud thunder. This is the list of the men who performed this service: Psalm 18:13 13 Yahweh thundered in the heavens. Elyon made his voice heard with hailstones and lightning. Psalm 77:18 18 The sound of your thunder rumbled in the sky. Streaks of lightning lit up the world. The earth trembled and shook. Matthew 19:12 12 For example, some men are celibate because they were born that way. Others are celibate because they were castrated. Still others have decided to be celibate because of the kingdom of heaven. If anyone can do what you’ve suggested, then he should do it.” Ephesians 5:27 27 Then he could present it to himself as a glorious church, without any kind of stain or wrinkle—holy and without faults. Hebrews 12:23 23 and to the assembly of God’s firstborn children (whose names are written in heaven). You have come to a judge (the God of all people) and to the spirits of people who have God’s approval and have gained eternal life. James 1:18 18 God decided to give us life through the word of truth to make us his most important creatures. Revelation 1:5 5 and from Yeshua Christ, the witness, the trustworthy one, the first to come back to life, and the ruler over the kings of the earth. Glory and power forever and ever[a] belong to the one who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood Revelation 6:1 The Lamb Opens the First Six Seals 6 I watched as the lamb opened the first of the seven seals. I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, “Go!” |
| Revelation 14:3 3 They were singing a new song in front of the throne, the four living creatures, and the leaders. Only the 144,000 people who had been bought on earth could learn the song. | Isaiah 42:10-13 10 Sing a new song to Yahweh. Sing his praise from the ends of the earth, you people who sail on the seas and all the creatures that live in them, you coastlands and all who live on them. 11 Let those who live in the desert and its cities raise their voices. Let those who live in the settlements of Kedar praise him. Let those who live in Sela sing for joy. Let them shout from the tops of the mountains. 12 Let them give glory to Yahweh and announce his praise on the coastlands. 13 Yahweh marches out like a warrior. He prepares himself for battle like a soldier. Revelation 2:17 17 Let the person who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will give some of the hidden manna to everyone who wins the victory. I will also give each person a white stone with a new name written on it, a name that is known only to the person who receives it. Revelation 4:4 4 Around that throne were 24 other thrones, and on these thrones sat 24 leaders wearing white clothes. They had gold crowns on their heads. Revelation 4:6 6 In front of the throne, there was something like a sea of glass as clear as crystal. In the center near the throne and around the throne were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back. Revelation 5:9 9 Then they sang a new song, “You deserve to take the scroll and open the seals on it, because you were slaughtered. You bought people with your blood to be God’s own. They are from every tribe, language, people, and nation. Revelation 7:4 4 I heard how many were sealed: 144,000. Those who were sealed were from every tribe of the people of Israel: Revelation 12:11 11 They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life so much that they refused to give it up. Revelation 14:1 The New Song on Mount Zion 14 I looked, and the lamb was standing on Mount Zion. | Revelation 14:4 4 These 144,000 virgins are pure. They follow the lamb wherever he goes. They were bought from among humanity as the first ones offered to God and to the lamb. | Daniel 7:13 13 In my visions during the night, I saw among the clouds in heaven someone like the Bar-Enash.[a] He came to the Ancient One, who has lived for endless years, and was presented to him. Revelation 7:7 5 12,000 from the tribe of Judah were sealed, 12,000 from the tribe of Reuben, 12,000 from the tribe of Gad, 6 12,000 from the tribe of Asher, 12,000 from the tribe of Naphtali, 12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh, 7 12,000 from the tribe of Simeon, 12,000 from the tribe of Levi, 12,000 from the tribe of Issachar, 8 12,000 from the tribe of Zebulun, 12,000 from the tribe of Joseph, 12,000 from the tribe of Benjamin were sealed. Revelation 17:14 14 They will go to war against the lamb. The lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those who are called, chosen, and faithful are with him.” Revelation 7:17 17 The lamb in the center near the throne will be their shepherd. | Revelation 14:5 5 They’ve never told a lie. They are blameless. | Psalm 32:2 2 Blessed is the person whom Yahweh no longer accuses of sin and who has no deceitful thoughts. Zephaniah 3:13 13 The faithful few in Israel will not do wrong, tell lies, or use their tongues to deceive others. They will graze their sheep and lie down, and there will be no one to terrify them.” Malachi 2:6 6 The teaching that came from his mouth was true. Nothing unjust was found on his lips. He lived with me in peace and honesty and turned many people away from sin. John 1:47 47 Yeshua saw Nathanael coming toward him and remarked, “Here is a true Israelite who is sincere.” Psalm 32:2 2 Blessed is the person whom Yahweh no longer accuses of sin and who has no deceitful thoughts. Hebrews 9:14 14 The blood of Christ, who had no defect, does even more. Through the eternal Spirit he offered himself to God and cleansed our consciences from the useless things we had done. Now we can serve the living God. 1 Peter 1:19 19 Rather, the payment that freed you was the precious blood of Christ, the lamb with no defects or imperfections. 1 Peter 2:22 22 Christ never committed any sin. He never spoke deceitfully. Jude 24 24 God can guard you so that you don’t fall and so that you can be full of joy as you stand in his glorious presence without fault. |
| Revelation 14:6 6 I saw another angel flying overhead with the everlasting Good News to spread to those who live on earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. | Matthew 24:14 14 “This Good News about the kingdom will be spread throughout the world as a testimony to all nations. Then the end will come. 1 Peter 3:10 10 “People who want to live a full life and enjoy good days must keep their tongues from saying evil things, and their lips from speaking deceitful things. Revelation 3:10 10 Because you have obeyed my command to endure, I will keep you safe during the time of testing which is coming to the whole world to test those living on earth. Revelation 8:13 13 I saw an eagle flying overhead, and I heard it say in a loud voice, “Catastrophe, catastrophe, catastrophe for those living on earth, because of the remaining trumpet blasts which the three angels are about to blow.” Revelation 10:7 7 In the days when the seventh angel is ready to blow his trumpet, the mystery of God will be completed, as he had made this Good News known to his servants, the prophets.” Revelation 18:21 21 Then a powerful angel picked up a stone that was like a large millstone. He threw it into the sea and said, “The important city Babylon will be thrown down with the same force. It will never be found again. |
| Revelation 14:7 7 The angel said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the time has come for him to judge. Worship the one who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs.” | Psalm 86:9 9 All the nations that you have made will bow in your presence, O Adonay. They will honor you. Revelation 4:11 11 “Our Lord and God, you deserve to receive glory, honor, and power because you created everything. Everything came into existence and was created because of your will.” Revelation 8:10 10 When the third angel blew his trumpet, a huge star flaming like a torch fell from the sky. It fell on one-third of the rivers and on the springs. Revelation 10:6 6 He swore an oath by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and everything in it, the earth and everything in it, and the sea and everything in it. He said, “There will be no more delay. Revelation 11:13 13 At that moment a powerful earthquake struck. One-tenth of the city collapsed, 7,000 people were killed by the earthquake, and the rest were terrified. They gave glory to the God of heaven. Revelation 11:18 18 “The nations were angry, but your anger has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged: to reward your servants, the prophets, your holy people, and those who fear your name, no matter if they are important or unimportant, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” Revelation 15:4 4 Lord, who won’t fear and praise your name? You are the only holy one, and all the nations will come to worship you because they know about your fair judgments.” |
| Revelation 14:8 8 Another angel, a second one, followed him, and said, “Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen! She has made all the nations drink the wine of her passionate sexual sins.” | Isaiah 21:9 9 Look! Here come chariots and horsemen in pairs.” Then he said, “Babylon has fallen! It has fallen! All the idols they worship lie shattered on the ground.” Jeremiah 51:8 8 Babylon will suddenly fall and be shattered. Cry for it. Bring medicine for its pain. Maybe it can be healed. Daniel 4:27 27 “That is why, Your Majesty, my best advice is that you stop sinning, and do what is right. Stop committing the same errors, and have pity on the poor. Maybe you can prolong your prosperity.” Daniel 4:30 30 The king thought, “Look how great Babylon is! I built the royal palace by my own impressive power and for my glorious honor.” Jeremiah 51:7-8 7 Babylon was a golden cup in Yahweh’s hand. It made the whole world drunk. The nations drank its wine. That is why the nations have gone insane. 8 Babylon will suddenly fall and be shattered. Cry for it. Bring medicine for its pain. Maybe it can be healed. Revelation 16:19 19 The important city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. God remembered to give Babylon the Great the cup of wine from his fierce anger. Revelation 17:5 5 A name was written on her forehead. The name was Mystery: Babylon the Great, the Mother of Prostitutes and Detestable Things of the Earth. Revelation 18:2 2 He cried out in a powerful voice, “Fallen! Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a home for demons. She is a prison for every evil spirit, every unclean[a] bird, and every unclean and hated beast. Revelation 18:3 3 All the nations fell because of the wine of her sexual sins. The kings of the earth had sex with her. Her luxurious wealth has made the merchants of the earth rich.” Revelation 18:10 10 Frightened by her torture, they will stand far away and say, ‘How horrible, how horrible it is for that important city, the powerful city Babylon! In one moment judgment has come to it!’ Revelation 18:21 21 Then a powerful angel picked up a stone that was like a large millstone. He threw it into the sea and said, “The important city Babylon will be thrown down with the same force. It will never be found again. |

(Its foaming wine is thoroughly mixed with spices.) He will empty it, and all the wicked people on earth will have to drink every last drop. Jeremiah 25:15-16 15 This is what Yahweh Elohim of Israel said to me: Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my fury, and make all the nations to whom I’m sending you drink from it. 16 When they drink from it, they will stagger and go insane because of the wars that I’m going to send them. |
| Revelation 14:10 10 will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured unmixed into the cup of God’s anger. Isaiah 51:17 17 Wake up! Wake up! Stand up, Jerusalem! You drank from the cup in Yahweh’s hand. That cup was filled with his anger. You drank from the bowl, the cup that makes people stagger, and you drained it! Isaiah 51:22 22 Yahweh your Elohim defends his people. This is what your Adonay says: I’m taking from your hand the cup that makes people stagger, the bowl, the cup of my fury. You will never drink from it again. Jeremiah 25:15 15 This is what Yahweh Elohim of Israel said to me: Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my fury, and make all the nations to whom I’m sending you drink from it. Jeremiah 25:27 27 The Lord said, “Say to them, ‘This is what Yahweh Tsebaoth, the Elohim of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk, vomit, fall down, and don’t get up because of the wars that I’m going to send you.’ Ezekiel 38:22 22 I will punish Gog with plagues and death. I will send rainstorms, large hailstones, fire, and burning sulfur on his troops and on the many armies with him. Mark 8:38 38 If people are ashamed of me and what I say in this unfaithful and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of those people when he comes with the holy angels in his Father’s glory.” |
| Revelation 14:11 11 The smoke from their torture will go up forever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast or its statue, or for anyone branded with its name.” | Isaiah 34:8-10 8 Yahweh will have a day of vengeance, a year of revenge in defense of Zion. 9 Edom’s streams will be turned to tar. Its soil will be turned to burning sulfur. Its land will become blazing tar. 10 They will not be extinguished day or night, and smoke will always go up from them. Edom will lie in ruins for generations. No one will ever travel through it. |
| Revelation 14:12 12 In this situation God’s holy people, who obey his commands and keep their faith in Yeshua, need endurance. | 1 John 5:2-4 2 We know that we love God’s children when we love God by obeying his commandments. 3 To love God means that we obey his commandments. Obeying his commandments isn’t difficult 4 because everyone who has been born from God has won the victory over the world. Our faith is what wins the victory over the world. Revelation 12:17 17 The serpent became angry with the woman. So it went away to fight with her other children, the ones who keep God’s commands and hold on to the testimony of Yeshua. |
| Revelation 14:13 13 I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this: From now on those who die believing in the Lord are blessed.” “Yes,” says the Spirit. “Let them rest from their hard work. What they have done goes with them.” | Hebrews 4:1 4 God’s promise that we may enter his place of rest still stands. We are afraid that some of you think you won’t enter his place of rest. Hebrews 4:3 3 We who believe are entering that place of rest. As God said, “So I angrily took a solemn oath that they would never enter my place of rest.” God said this even though he had finished his work when he created the world. Hebrews 4:9 9 Therefore, a time of rest and worship exists for God’s people. Hebrews 4:11 11 So we must make every effort to enter that place of rest. Then no one will be lost by following the example of those who refused to obey. 1 Corinthians 15:18 18 Then those who have died as believers in Christ no longer exist. |
| Revelation 14:14 14 Then I looked, and there was a white cloud, and on the cloud sat someone who was like the Son of Man. He had a gold crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. | Psalm 21:3 3 You welcomed him with the blessings of good things and set a crown of fine gold on his head. Isaiah 19:1 19 This is the divine revelation about Egypt. Yahweh is riding on a fast-moving cloud and is coming to Egypt. Egypt’s idols will tremble in his presence. Egypt’s courage will fail. | Revelation 14:15 15 Another angel came out of the temple. He cried out in a loud voice to the one who sat on the cloud, “Swing your sickle, and gather the harvest. The time has come to gather it, because the harvest on the earth is overripe.” | Joel 3:13 13 Cut them down like grain. The harvest is ripe. Stomp on them as you would stomp on grapes. The winepress is full. The vats overflow. The nations are very wicked. Mark 4:29 29 As soon as the grain is ready, he cuts it with a sickle, because harvest time has come.” Luke 10:2 2 He told them, “The harvest is large, but the workers are few. So ask the Lord who gives this harvest to send workers to harvest his crops. John 4:35 35 “Don’t you say, ‘In four more months the harvest will be here’? I’m telling you to look and see that the fields are ready to be harvested. |

When the grain is cut, I will tell the workers to gather the weeds first and tie them in bundles to be burned. But I’ll have them bring the wheat into my barn.’” |

| Revelation 14:18 18 Yet another angel came from the altar with authority over fire. Who is this dressed in splendor, going forward with great strength? “It is I, Yahweh. I am coming to announce my victory. I am powerful enough to save you.” 2 Why are your clothes red and your garments like those who trample grapes in a winepress? 3 “I have trampled alone in the winepress. No one was with me. In my anger I trampled on people. In my wrath I stomped on them. Their blood splattered my clothes so all my clothing has been stained. Joel 3:13 13 Cut them down like grain. The harvest is ripe. | Revelation 14:20 20 The grapes were trampled in the winepress outside the city. Blood flowed out of the winepress as high as a horse’s bridle for 1,600 stadia.[a] | Genesis 49:11 11 He will tie his donkey to a grapevine, his colt to the best vine. He will wash his clothes in wine, his garments in the blood of grapes. Deuteronomy 32:14 14 They ate cheese from cows and drank milk from sheep and goats. He gave them fat from lambs, rams from the stock of Bashan, male goats, and the best wheat. They drank the blood-red wine of grapes. Isaiah 63:3 3 “I have trampled alone in the winepress. No one was with me. In my anger I trampled on people. In my wrath I stomped on them. Their blood splattered my clothes so all my clothing has been stained. Lamentations 1:15 15 Adonay has treated all the warriors inside my walls with contempt. He called an army to defeat my young men. Adonay trampled the people of Judah in a winepress.
