Ezekiel Chapter 2: A Study of Rebellion and Obedience


Ezekiel 2:1 “And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon thy feet, and I will speak unto thee.”Daniel 10:11
“And he said to me, ‘O Daniel, man greatly beloved, understand the words that I speak to you, and stand upright, for I have now been sent to you.’ When he had spoken this word to me, I stood trembling”

Acts 9:6
“So he, trembling and astonished, said, ‘Lord, what do You want me to do?’ Then the Lord said to him, ‘Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do'”
Ezekiel 2:2 “And the spirit entered into me when he spake unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spake unto me.”Ezekiel 3:24
“Then the Spirit entered into me and set me on my feet. He spoke with me and said, ‘Go, shut yourself inside your house.'”

Daniel 8:18

Matthew 10:12-15

If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town”

Ezekiel 28:24

Revelation 10:9
“So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, ‘Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey’

Revelation 5:1-5
“Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?’ But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals'”

“Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: ‘Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.’ So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, ‘Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.’ I took the little scroll from the angelโ€™s hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour. Then I was told, ‘You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, languages and kings'”
Ezekiel 2:10 “And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.”Isaiah 3:11
“Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done”

Revelation 8:13
“As I watched, I heard an eagle that was flying in midair call out in a loud voice: ‘Woe! Woe! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, because of the trumpet blasts about to be sounded by the other three angels!'”
