all right all right all right welcome to another edition of Shabbat Lounge this is Matt and Jake here Jake and I are coming to you with something we don’t normally do yeah it’s a a bit of a newsy week isn’t it yep been lots of stuff in the news and if you’re like us you probably have been glued to information consuming and um we just wanted to to visit about that for a second with all the news in the world and um the content that we’ve all been consuming and maybe your brain if your brain is like ours been kind of consumed with trying to find out as much much information as possible trying to decipher truth which is hard to do today so well Jake you had a good question and we we actually have been talking for a few minutes and then we went oh we didn’t press record right it was really good so go back and listen to it so yeah in our minds only right so so yeah um obviously uh uh Trump attempted assassination situation over the weekend in uh uh in Butler PA um which is real close to where I lived for quite a while um I was you know my wife worked in the school district in the town and we had driven by there several times so um uh but we’re in Texas now uh but yeah it was kind of odd to see it was that area it’s a fairly conservative area but uh anyway I guess there’s crazies everywhere yeah but um so one of the things that we hear a lot right now is you know I I appreciated Trump came out and said you know the only reason I’m I’m alive right now is because of God protecting me and uh I appreciate that and I think that’s you know if you watch the video I I don’t know how you cannot say that that’s true um but the point is that if if it didn’t turn out that way if he ended up that one inch the other the other way and he turned his you know when he turned his head just that millisecond and they talked about that one doctor came on and he said uh you know just a few centimeters and he this would be a different conversation today right so we look at that and we go okay if it if it did go the other way and Trump did end up dying that day um would we still be saying that this was yah’s Will um or do we only say that when it turns out the way we want it to yeah yeah I think that’s a a good question and you know there I would say in even our own lives this is a because there’s probably a lot of things that happen if they happen for good we’re like well it’s yah’s will that I got all this money today it must be his will that I won the lottery or I I went to Vegas and I won all this money on betting on the election um or whatever um but if it goes the other way you know um you know we don’t always attribute it the same so yeah you know like when the drought comes we don’t often go wow that’s that’s y’all’s will where you know we’re usually like come on what’s the deal and when when the rain comes we’re like oh well he’s choosing to bless us he chose to bless us cuz we’re doing so we’re doing so good over here yeah just rained at my place didn’t even rain over at yours so I mean I don’t know what you got going on over there but been raining buckets over here yeah but but we kind of do that yeah so one of the things to consider is uh you know kind of be be honest with yourself and on what you’re giving yah credit for um because he doesn’t want to share the glory with anyone and he’s he’s got a plan he’s just got all kinds of things in the works and all kinds of pieces to move around the chessboard that we don’t understand um he’s given us a glimpse of it with the scriptures but um you know we can we can try all we we might but then we get into you know future guessing and and things like that and it gets kind of messy yeah well and you know um you know I’ve lived in this country my whole life I don’t know any other place I have my Roots Run Deep here like many of you and um you know I love this country I love this place and we love the freedoms that we have and you know the freedom to assembly and the freedom freedom of speech the freedom to do this you know we love these things about our about the country we live in and I truly feel like these are blessings in time not everybody gets these blessings and we need to make the most of them but at the same time this system is is not our Kingdom right yeah and uh you know good times make weak men um and I think by the direction the country is going right now you see the weakness of men the results of the weakness of men um so that’s something to think about too so yeah um we also talked about um the RNC uh you know conference going on right now yeah you know if you need a good reminder of where some of these things stand is just look at the last few days you know this this one we’re kind of seeing here but I know the night before there was a great deal of symbol symbolism with the Illuminati kind of symbolism and the dollar um that you know the pyramid that’s on the dollar was back behind them the whole time and you know those things you know they they were showing you what they’re about and what what their kingdom is and and those are those were good reminders and they had a lady that uh spoke for quite a while and she had she’s famous and she’s not famous for things that U you and I would say were good things to be famous for and uh she spoke for a long time she’s the one that had the tattoo across her forehead and um you know they were showing you you know their very first night this is what we’re about and uh you know they they weren’t and and there was a prayer and I listened to the prayer and at the end of the prayer you know they they just Clos it out with amen U you know that that to me always says something about you know kind of where you what you’re willing to say you know when you say even if you say in Jesus name I mean you’re you’re stepping you know you know it’d be rare for very rare for them to say in the name of Yahweh right or something like that or um yah you know Yeshua anything like that U much less Jesus himself but um but but you know that that tells you something about where they are yeah and you could look at uh you know different pter type folks that that you know Trump has surrounded himself with and things like that and uh but yeah the point about that you know they’re they’re looking for this big tent situation they want to welcome everyone in I think a lot of the problem they they find is that on the right everyone’s kind of got their own it’s kind of more prone to Independent thinking so no one really aligns on things they’re just against the same things um and many of the times you know the the rank and file are against the same many things um but uh they have to look at the the um the what is it called their platform yes the Republican Party platform that just came out and there was like all the all the RNC members from each state go to this meeting every time they do this and they get to debate on all the points and stuff not this time they didn’t get to even debate on it it was this is what how it’s going and thanks for showing up and they take abortion out of the platform now it’s you know not one of the top 20 issues uh because they’ve gotten as much as they want out of it and now they think it’s hurting them so I mean do we do you do do you go against you know what’s right in order to to gain footing you know it’s it’s kind of a hard scenario because if you just I don’t know I I I feel I have a hard time talking about it just because I feel like everyone is already talking about it and everyone’s already saying everything there is to say about it well just just looking at what we’re seeing here now you know there’s a lot of people praying and their hands are lifted up and you know it is encouraging I think that so many people um are have there is this movement in our country that you know um could be stirred even more I think um but I think they just tease it and they just they they just manipulate us and they use us to get what they want yeah and part of what they want is money power Fame and um you know we we give it to them but um but yeah I think we’re also very easily manipulated by these things because if they say the right things if they pray we’re like oh man they’re great that you know they’re a great person they pray yeah yeah it’s uh we’re so I think the the right is so desperate for someone that they can latch on to that uh it’s you know made this comment years ago about how uh we we’re just so desperate that as soon as someone says something where like that you know everyone’s telling you they’re afraid to say and then people are saying it they’re like yeah that guy’s got to be president it’s like hang on what else does he talk about what else does he care about what else you know influences him you know but you know as as soon as someone says something you like where he needs to be president yeah and I think you know we we definitely Jake and I both you know we love this country dearly we have family members that get you know fought uh you know for our freedoms and we we this show benefits from the freedom in the United States and we don’t want to live anywhere else this is the only place we want to be um well we we say that but you know we really long for uh to live in the kingdom yah’s kingdom where he is the ultimate ruler and all of this is just um you know trivial we know we know the way it’s supposed to be and and we don’t hear these guys when when you start hearing people on these kinds of Pulpit stages start talking about um you know we need to get down on our hands and knees and repent you know okay I’m listening and and you don’t hear those words very often do you not a whole lot and and even then the standard of repentance is very low it’s uh change change what you believe that’s repentance um well let’s have the action follow you know yeah um we made the comment about you know if everyone was keeping Sabbath if everyone was keeping feast and the communities were coming together uh discussing yah’s ways and you know what a different Nation we would be um and we get the leaders we we deserve basically I mean we want we we’d like to say yah needs to put in a a leader that’s going to change this the direction this country is going do have you seen the people in this country you know how much how much do we deserve that you know when we when we start making Idols out of our leaders is that something yah’s going to bless yeah well think about you know how much time we spent this week consuming this cont content versus how much time we spent in scripture or prayer and you know some of you may have been praying this up a lot and that’s that’s great if you are I think we should be praying for our leaders we should be praying for our country and the direction it goes and and for y’all’s will to be done and his will for us may not be might not be something we like might not be pleasant yeah but uh but he definitely has a purpose and a plan and and but I think it’s just so important to keep your footing in this time and and to realize that yes uh you know Trump for sure says the right things and we like the things he says but he’s not the Savior he’s not um you know he’s just a dude who who also knows how to manipulate people and knows how to get money from people and how to motivate people I mean those are all the definitions of a politic ition and um you know the values that he promotes they don’t all line up with Kingdom values and I think we were kind of talking about it earlier you know um had they fought uh you know Trump trump did bring us the first injections that we had yeah that was under his watch and um you know it he might still be the president I think um had he T taken that taken a different St and really rallied against those things um I think that you know who knows what could have happened here but um probably would have benefited him for sure yeah it’s similar you know as we mentioned earlier are you giving yah credit when it doesn’t suit your standard like uh when Trump was elected the first time right we we everyone was saying oh well yah put him in office yah overcame all the cheating in the in the election cycle and whatnot and you know yah put him in in place but then like Biden wins and you don’t hear well yah put Biden in place you you hear oh they cheated and they they out cheated the will of yah apparently because because now Biden’s president so um just I I hear that back and forth I hear credit given when it’s acceptable to our flesh and then you know it’s we blame the the puny human when it’s you know against our flesh so uh I think Jo had that same issue right he’s he’s like uh he goes should we accept uh he says to his wife I guess job didn’t have that issue his wife did yeah he says uh silly woman should we accept good from yah and not evil right now evil being bad things that are happening to us in the flesh right so I think that’s it an important lesson that uh we can draw out of job and remember while we’re going through all these things and and watch paying attention to what’s going on I mean I think it’s important to have a Watchman on the wall seeing what is happening yeah for sure but um and and I think there is no doubt that um that there there’s an Easy Choice here and there’s you know there’s somebody that definitely has more of our values and then you know Biden clearly you know he can’t even talk you know coherently um it’s it’s going to be kind of a slam dunk it looks like for for Trump uh you know he just has to breathe and walk and uh think he think this is going to happen for him it seems like it’ll be I mean they’re setting it up to be this blowout Victory and which you know I’m you know from what I’m seeing it sounds like it but you know who knows yeah but now you know looking at these images I do like seeing all these people with their heads bowed and praying and you know I don’t think those are you know there’s definitely some good things that you see and some good things that are happening and um yeah we don’t want to do gloomy yeah yeah too much so you know it’s very positive seeing seeing these things but um but just do we just have to remember that this guy isn’t going to save us this party isn’t going to save us they’re just people they’re not perfect and uh and first off this is not our kingdom this is not what we put our hope faith and trust in and we can be very patriotic and and respect where we’ve come from but not not confuse that with our faith and not uh confuse that with you know where our real hope lies because our real hope does not it doesn’t matter what happens because the the problems that they can address with the Republican Party the the problems in our country cannot be fixed by a political iCal system you know what what welfare program what government law can you put in place that is is going to change people’s hearts and minds and turn them to yah it would only be things that we find in the Torah and um it’s it’s hard to see that we’re headed there but if people start talking like that in these events I think we should really pay attention but uh I’m I’m not seeing it yeah and that’s a good point about uh you know you you can’t fix the problems we have with uh political situations because that’s not what got us here you know the uh the people get the leaders they deserve and uh we need a a repentance in the hearts of people of the nation um a lot of people say uh Revival or bust right it’s like do you if that’s fine and I agree do you understand what Revival AC looks like it’s it’s it it won’t look pretty I don’t think so um because one side of this doesn’t want Revival one side of this wants um uh wants to own you basically yeah so um and and let’s not confuse which one side I’m discussing because really Republican Democrat you know left right it’s it’s essentially the leadership is a uni party they’re all they’re all headed the same direction it’s just the pace is different mhm um they’re really the interest is in uh one one wants to wield The Sword and one wants to wield the sword a little more yeah right they’re both wings of the same bird so yeah and we encourage you to check those things out and and research it don’t just take our word for it and and pray about it I think we should be in prayer about these things and Jake you had a long list of things there did we are we covering the things on on your list a little bit yeah one of the things that just you know uh popped up in my head while you were saying that was that uh when you look at what this person did in in firing at Trump right this is a person with conviction he heard all the messages and he believed it and he said I am sold out for that message and I think
I want this to come out right I I think that the one of the issues is one side really believes in their religion and they’ll do whatever it takes for their religion to to prosper and another side just kind of likes the the label of their religion I think the the problem is there’s too many True Believers on one side and on the other and uh in case I’m being too vague the right the right in this country is not does not have conviction for their beliefs and that’s why uh that’s why they struggle so much to to gain a following and gain power you see how far the left has to has to torpedo themselves in order for the right to even gain a a hope of winning it’s crazy yeah yeah so conviction is a big problem yeah for sure yeah the other thing was uh so we look at the VP pick right and so JD Vance which you know before coming into this admittedly I I didn’t know much about him it’s a name I had heard many times with good you know good things said about him um I think all the he was never Trump big deal uh I don’t care about that um we’re allowed to change our minds but the other thing is then he comes out after you know once he’s in the in the running for VP pick now he comes out and he’s for mistone the abortion drug right it’s like what are we doing do we have to like we could just not even talk about it if that’s if that’s your stance is it’s costing us elections then just don’t talk about it you don’t have to come out in support of the of the abortion things you know so we have a situation where you know we have the very first Republican ticket that’s in some sense supporting abortion you know so it’s it’s kind of crazy you had uh I don’t know how many people know about this Melania Trump’s been like nowhere right but the one thing you really did was this big trans thing at maral Lago what are we doing you want a big tent at what cost is it work what’s the cost and are you willing to pay it yeah so I think that’s something to consider as well yeah well it’s a good thing to um check yourself on these things because people get so caught up and um they can they can become blinded to the truth and we just want you to uh pause and think about it a little bit and not get sucked into these things and consider that uh both of these parties both the Republican party and the Democrat Party um don’t don’t have your best interest in mind and you know um how many of these guys on both parties go in you know I think it can make this argument that everybody goes into office and ends up uh richer than the when they started everyone but Trump and you know that is something that’s interesting that makes me go you know what’s the what’s the deal here that is unusual about him for sure yeah he’s definitely uh you know there’s parts of trump that he definitely I would say he he seems to love this country and want the best for it um I think a lot of times he thinks he’s the only one that can do it and he’s he’s not told otherwise but uh that’s something to think about too and here’s the thing one side of this the right tend tends more closely towards conservative values if that even means anything anymore conservative but Traditional Values um and so when we look at ourselves what are we doing to instill conservative Traditional Values biblical values into the communities we’re associated with um so a verse that kind of comes up to me is don’t mus the ax while he’s treading the grain these guys for their flaws are making a progress away from some pretty terrible policies so should we so who should I shut down what they’re doing or let them let them tread the grain because it’s helping it’s it’s definitely moving in in One Direction more than another in certain certain aspects so we I think we gotta balance that as well yeah um then the the one other thing if you have do you have something on else on that or okay so the one other thing I had was um a lot of things you’re going to see right now are and you have seen is all these montages about how well the left is saying bad things and that is causing people like this shooter to come out and commit violent acts all the rhetoric right yeah so like uh when Biden said something about the crosshairs the Bulls Eye yeah bull’s eye something put Trump in the Bull’s Eye now a lot of people flipped out about that and said see that’s the that’s the rhetoric we’re talking about okay you were on the other side of this argument when they did it to Sarah Palin so let’s you know we just need to recognize that we’re being silly that you’re being played is the thing you’re being played that’s the that’s the thread that goes through all of right-wing media right now is the Montage of everyone saying Trump’s Hitler Trump’s an authoritarian he’s a dictator and uh the whole what they said about kavan and Gorsuch and the you know this at the and the people that went to kavanagh’s house to assassinate him and whatnot and the Steve scales into the ball field and ran Paul getting his ribs broken by his neighbor right they’re going through all this stuff and say putting these montages together and saying see this is you guys did all this and then you got uh uh Madonna saying she wishes she could blow up the White House yeah right and then you got Johnny Depp saying hey uh I wonder when the last time uh an actor assassinated a president you know it and yeah we throw that stuff out there and there’s a great Montage of all that stuff and it’s it’s you know there’s a point it makes a point that the rhetoric does play a part in things like this however you can make the exact same Montage about what the right says about the left they’re demonic right do you want demons running around no do you think a crazy might take the that you’re calling them demonic take some kind of action over it m M right we we talk about the laware right um well there’s no you can’t get a a a just trial if you’re a conservative well if you really believe that why aren’t you the Second Amendment is for a reason if you really believed that you’d be picking up your guns and doing something about it you know what I mean so we don’t even believe the things we’re saying we’re just saying stuff and that’s how you know it’s a grift because for years we were saying oh well the Wright was saying I’ll know that you specifically Matt were saying but the right was saying Obama’s Hitler Obama is bringing us to Nazi times right same thing about Biden who lets the Country Wide Open like this Nazis that’s who you know what I mean and and then the other side does it too that’s what I’m saying we we all do it where’s the Montage of that you use it when it works works for you and you hide it when it doesn’t you know what I mean it’s let’s just be consistent be honest yes the the thing that happened with Trump is terrible you shouldn’t shouldn’t be outshooting people no what are you thinking but but just be honest in your in the rhetoric category here I mean I think the people that are saying uh too bad you missed right learn to aim that’s terrible and disgusting and uh you know I do you think it’s more on one side than the other yeah I think that I do think that I think if um if it was said by the the right about the left I think people would throw a bigger fit they’d be J sixing them to jail yeah it would be bad yeah I’m wondering huge huge deal they’re gonna j13 people they they won’t they won’t no you know what I mean yeah we got to wait two weeks for them to even have a hearing on the the screw-ups with the Secret Service and all this well and I think bottom line we we know this we know that there’s an enemy that hates us and he wants to destroy us he wants to kill us he wants to Rob us he wants to mutilate us he wants to do everything he can to keep us from the kingdom and to keep us from our maker and he’s going to do everything he can he’s going to lie he’s going to manipulate he’s going to do everything and we know that he’s you know operating and trying to deceive and and that that that is already happening we see it we’ve been seeing it for years um the the book is you know especially towards the end of Revelation it it tells us clearly there’s going to be these great deceptions people are going to be very confused and um you know so so we know that and uh we just need to be vigilant and make sure that we’re not deceived by these people because it’s easy to be deceived easy to be sucked in to all of these things and just consumed by them and uh you know just challenge you to turn some of this off and not let it consume you don’t let it consume don’t let it ruin your relationships with other people with your family members you know it’s not worth not worth losing your your brother or even a coworker or a friend over a political difference over something that that really doesn’t matter at
all yeah it’s not like nothing no issue matters but uh yeah most of the time you’re going to come around and say well you know that think about uh back in the Clinton presidency all the problems of that if you go listen to some Rush Limba back in the r in the Clint presidency wouldn’t you wouldn’t you like love to have those problems today yeah that were going on those seem like pretty simple problems but they were like the end of the world stuff well if Bill Clinton gets elected he turns out he’s he’s more conservative than uh yeah half the people we’re voting for now yeah I think he probably was yeah and yet we we’ll on our side say well he’s demonic and he’s he needs to you know he’s you know you don’t stab yourself in the back 10 times right yeah or you know that kind of thing so um or like uh nor McDonald famously said Hillary Clinton she killed a guy yeah yeah we know what happened to him yeah he’s no longer with us that’s right but uh but you know so what how do we sum this up Where Do We Go From Here Jake well you know the point is Keep Your Head on a swivel remember y’s in charge try to be consistent in what you’re doing if you find you’re not consistent on something change your mind you know throw out the crap in your thought process that doesn’t align with truth and fix it I mean that’s uh get rid of contradiction yeah yeah and and just don’t hold your allegiance to who you are and your identity to this to any one political party um you know our Allegiance and our identity is found in Messiah right is found in our father um you know that’s um that’s where our identity lies that’s what you know we should relate more to the Israelites in the desert than we do these these folks were watching here and and we should you know pursue Torah we should pursue those things and you know anything else that gets in the way of that um you know we probably shouldn’t do and so you know it stop watching us and read your scripture you know um you know and that’s uh that that’d be much better use of your time honestly so and and you know I think that um you know it’s just so easy we live in a world full of distractions you can make an argument all of this is you know just just another big distraction to keep you distracted from seeing what’s really happening and you’re bread in Circus yeah yeah cuz we know the enem is out trying to get us we know that we don’t have to go into all these conspiracy theories and Chase all these rabbits and we already know yeah although it may be fun to chase some of those rabbits I like to chase a rabbit you it’s good it’s good entertainment yeah I think uh when we I think we need to be careful though with that too because we can there’s scripture it talks about blowing with every wind that comes along with uh just because it sounds exciting and new and different doesn’t me make it true yeah um yeah all right anything else yeah one more one last thing you were you know talking about how you know there the enemy does want to seek kill seek kill and destroy right um and yet he has to go to yah for permission so
uh you need to you need to kind of wrap that just complete the circle okay fill in the the rest of the picture don’t just cherry-pick ideas but uh things like um when y the Deuteronomy 13 test right he’s going to give out a deception right the great deception you talked about at the end a deception that he puts out there he he puts false prophets out there and it is to test us to see if we are going to choose him or the thing that tickles are yours and uh so make sure you pass that test cuz the test isn’t for him to know it’s he already knows it’s so we can know yeah do I really love yah yeah and I think a good thing we’ve talked about before you know what would Messiah do you know the fact is Messiah was born in a in during or under the province and control of Rome um yes he was in in in um in Israel but it was a a Roman province and so he was born at a time in a voting Republic could he have voted yeah I think he could have made that happen if he wanted to uh he you know he owned the world so you know he he technically qualified as a land owner and we’ve talked about that before but you know the fact that he’s silent on it you know I think that just shows you that um he didn’t think it was you know it’s not worth uh getting bogged down in all this you seem to be more interested in a different Kingdom yeah and just go look up the word politic see where it comes from go look at the Latin look at what vote means well I’m politic doesn’t it mean blood sucker um that’s uh I’m thinking that that’s the Latin on polyic it’s a compound word of two things put together and what is what does the word vote mean well look it up
